Open Spirit provides the tools and spiritual practices that transform lives and

Open Spirit Community evolved from a deep longing for a greater soul
experience of the inner Presence of Spirit/God. We know that in life when
we first seek the 'kingdom,' that is the Presence of Spirit/God, all else is
added. Open spirit was formed as a place where we could place our focus
on a deep and personal experience of God. Through the practice of the
Presence of God, transformation takes place in consciousness and through
this transformation our life experiences become more fulfilling and
meaningful.
Each individual describes 'a meaningful life' differently according to his or
her individual personality. However, two conditions inevitably emerge for
any life to reflect deep meaning and satisfaction. These are an abiding
experience of love and an open hearted response to other people and the
world.
Open Spirit’s ministry exhibits the power and energy of Love, creating a high
consciousness that inspires transformation in the individual life and service
in the world.
What We Believe
There is one Power and Presence in the Universe which we call God/Spirit.
This Power and Presence is the energy of Love and it is in, through and as
all creation.
We are individual expressions of universal Love, incarnations of Spirit in
form.
We believe in the eternality, the immortality and the continuity of the
individual soul forever expanding. Our ultimate goal is to awaken to the
realization of Self as a Divine Expression of Love and to extend this love
through relationship to all beings.
Heaven is within us and we experience it to the degree that we become
conscious of it. The process of awakening is ongoing and ever-evolving.
There are many paths to this awakening. We honor all ways and we teach
the universal wisdom found in all spiritual paths.
We believe in the direct revelation of truth through the intuitive and spiritual
journey of each individual. We become revealers of truth as we learn to live
in communion with the indwelling God.
We know that our experience of life is the manifestation of our beliefs and
thoughts and we change our life experience by changing our thoughts and
beliefs.
